Where shall I start...

I realised I hadnt actully beeen on this for quite a while due to a Holiday and not riding that much. So I thought I better post a blog thing!

Milo has been a nutter lately. Bombing off, Bucking, Rearing, Spooking at any old thing! I swear he gets crazier everyday, you think he would start to calm down as he is getting older, but obvisouly not!

I rode him today, he was actully good :) Apart from when I first got on and he went crazy! But whats new, thats just him :]. Milo is just a nutter :) Hes soo strange, if he knows your a novice he might take it a bit slower with you and look after you a bit more, but as soon as he knows your limit and your ability he pushes you to a limit with them. But in a way this is good as it teaches you how to handle a crazy pony. And I always think learning on a crazier pony is much better than a old plodder!

Anyway back to the riding! I rode for around half an hour to forty minutes. During that time we worked on stopping! :) Which is always quite helpful while riding! Milo really does hate to stand still while your on him he always needs to "BE MOVING" :)

I also did a bit of leg yeild which he is getting excellent at.

I may of just made him sound like a pony that you wouldn't want to get near let alone ride. But trust me hes lovely and I wouldnt wish for any other sort of pony. He has good manners on the ground, jumps anything for me, and gives a bit of a thrill from now and then :) I DO LOVE MY MILO :)

Rear Buck Buck Rear - the weekend

Saturday :
I rode today IN THE FREEZZING cold and seeing as Milo hadnt been ridden since Sunday. I had to cope with a LOONY PONY! As soon as we got in to our school it was full pelt canter nearly a gallop! We went round the school at this speed over 29 times! I REALLY DO NOT NO HOW I STAYED ON! He was going round doing the fastest flying changes i'd ever experinced and as soon as he stopped there was a lot of rearing and bucking! After this little incident I had a flatwork lesson and he was BRILLANT! and suprisinlgying enough he wasn't tired from all that running around! I do love my Mr. Milo

Sunday:
I didnt ride today It was icy, and snowing. I left Mr. Milo in too. He doesnt like the cold if I did put him out he would just stand at the gate the whole time getting cold a miserable. I was going to jump but that would of been out of the question. :(
I gave him a mint lickit, mucked out, did his water, rugged him up and left him to much on his hay. And of course i gave him a kiss!

Muddy Mcmuddy!

No riding today just a long long grooooom!
He was sooooooooo muddy, the muddiest i've ever seen him and that is quite amaazzzzzing!
Seeing as he is the muddiest pony on the yard (even though theres only seven ponies there but ssssh!!!!)
Everybody is sure that he has a amazing talent of be able to do headstands as he gets so dirty in areas that look impossible for him to even touch!!

Well anyway I am off as you have probably bored of me blabbing on about mud!
SEE YOU TOMMORROW! XXX

Here it begins....

My first Blog :o)

Nothing too intersting, sorry to say!

I am 14 and I have one superly amazing pony called Milo who I have had for 5years.
He is unfortunatley getting old now :( but you wouldn't believe it!
I love him to pieces even thought he can be a cheeky wombat at times.. but that makes him Milo!
He lives in his lovely stable at my house so I have the joys of seeing him every day whenever I want. hehe
